China:
We package most of our products in a 200,000+ square foot state of the art modern production facility in Guangzhou, China allowing us to provide our customers with large scale and advanced manufacturing capabilities.
One of our key manufacturing advantages is our unique, chip co-packaging process which harnesses fully-automated assembly and alignment of different optical and optoelectronic chip materials. We have developed a proprietary multi-chip packaging process and now operate an assembly line of these state of the art automated machines. |

Australia:
In 2007 we announced the acquisition of Canberra based AOFR Pty Ltd (http://www.aofr.com/) which was established in Canberra in 1984. AOFR designs and manufactures fused fibre optic couplers/splitters, Wavelength Division Multiplexers and Fibre Bragg Gratings for Tier1 carriers like Telstra and system providers like Avanex. AOFR has also developed Polarization Maintaining Couplers and Laser Combiners aimed at new growth markets including Industrial material processing and Defense system providers.

At our wholly owned subsidiary Bandwidth Foundry spiel (www.bwfoundry.com) in Sydney, we conduct both R&D into PPLN chip manufacturing as well as production of optical processes like photomasks which are then sold to third parties around the world.

Our corporate headquarters are in Sunnyvale, California in the heart of Silicon Valley with a state-of-the art, gallium arsenide semiconductor fabrication facility and high quality assets. We also maintain a showroom of some of the consumer electronics equipment that our laser sources can be used in such as laser TV’s as well as digital cinema and pico projectors. |
